On September 13, 2024, a collaboration agreement was signed between upK and Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), which foresees a range of activities aimed at talent development, as well as support for the Student Associations at Técnico. Initiatives under this agreement include the creation of a merit award, the provision of two scholarships for students with socioeconomic needs, and support for the renovation of a learning space in the Mechanics II Pavilion on the Alameda campus.

This agreement will focus particularly on students, activities, and spaces related to mechanical engineering, promoting the academic and professional development of students in this field.
